Leadership
As the CEO and Founder of GCC, Byron. McIntosh has over 30 years of experience within the construction industry, working his way up the ranks from Laborer to Senior Vice President/Chief Operation Officer for other construction firms before opening the doors of GCC in 2000.
Over his career, Mr. McIntosh has personally been involved with construction projects valued at over $316 million across the country. He is keenly aware of building to the customer?s specifications and delivering projects on time, within budget and with quality built in the first time. Under his leadership, GCC has grown to be one of the region?s largest minority owned firms.

Our dedicated staff of experienced professionals has completed numerous projects for a multitude of government agencies. In addition to their success within the government sector, the GCC staff has experience completing high profile projects within the public and private sector including Station Casino (now Ameristar Casino) ? one of Kansas City?s first casinos, Renaissance Inns nationwide, 25 telecommunications projects for the Sprint Corporation in ten different states, and as part of the construction management team (Turner-Greenleaf) for the recent renovation of the Arrowhead Stadium for the NFL Kansas City Chiefs.

$9M Army Reserve Center ? January 2012
Greenleaf Construction gets started on brand new $9 million Army Reserve Center ? GCC kicks off the new year by breaking ground on a new U.S. Army Reserve Center located in Tallahassee, Florida. This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project will provide a new training and administrative facility including an organization maintenance shop, unheated storage building, military equipment parking and associated site work. This is the fourth Army Reserve Center that Greenleaf has constructed for the USACE Louisville District.
