MID LIFE CRISIS ? WHAT NOW?!

At 58, I am divorced now for a few years, no girlfriend ( not even trying);? I am convinced that I like alcohol and other stuff enough to need to be? a ?clean machine? ?Kids all grown up, no grand kids yet?so NOW WHAT?? I am healthier than I have ever been, I need almost no sleep, almost no food..

If you are asking yourself? ?what now?,? perhaps you should consider my solutions:

• Why I write:? I have so much time, so much energy, but that is not why I write, although it makes it possible: I write because I need a purpose: I need to stand for something, to be good for something, to make a contribution in order to be happy.
• Why I blog: blogging online is very short soundbites, just right for limited attention span, and full of instant gratification.?? We must learn to understand ourselves, and accept the truth about our strengths and weaknesses to find true happiness.? By blogging I am creating, being heard, getting responded to and getting recognition in a non-monetary way.
• How I live:? I have managed to build a huge presence which has become a business online.? Because I have an audience, and social media marketing skills, I can get paid to write about my clients businesses.? When I take early retirement soon, I will have two incomes.
• I can make a difference: I had to learn some new skills, something I have always embraced, in order to do what I do ? but it gives a voice to do so, allowing me to share the relevant parts of what I know to a never-ending and thirsty audience who is younger, and a never ending and thirsty audience of my peers who want to catch up and stay relevant.
• I work from home, allowing me to have the solitude and time to myself that I need? to be in touch with the real me ? underneath the lifelong worker bee.
• It is dignified, not embarrassing, and I actually enjoy it.
• You can do it too!
