Bibi and the bomb | ISRAELITY

September 28, 2012 - 11:36 AM by David

Israelis are apparently a cynical lot. Within minutes of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu?s speech Thursday night to the UN General Assembly in which he used this visual aid to demonstrate Iran?s push to achieve nuclear capabilities and how vital it was to establish a red line that can?t be crossed, Israeli bloggers, photoshoppers and tweeters overloaded cyberspace with various visual addendums to his chart.

I don?t think it was necessarily that they didn?t agree with Bibi?s assessment over the danger a nuclear Iran would be to Israel, it was just indignation over what they thought was bad graphic arts.

The chart was a little low tech, to be sure, and as the following renditions indicate, it conjured up some comical images from our collective cartoon past. So enjoy the smattering of images below. For the record, we still think Iran is dangerous, but these are pretty funny.
