Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge's Performing Arts Academy will hold auditions for its show choirs Glee and Voce' on Monday, Sept 9.
Auditions will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Ovation! studio at 600 Ericksen Ave. For the audition, singers should prepare any song and bring piano music in their key for the interim director, Brandon Peck.
Glee is for youth in sixth through 12th grade (advanced mix - male and female) and Voce' is an all-girl choir, for singers in fifth through 12th grade. Both choirs sing as well and dance and present fully staged concerts in January and May and appear at community events, particularly at holiday time.
Both choirs rehearse on Mondays and Wednesdays; Voce' practices from 4:30 to 6 p.m., and Glee rehearses from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m.
Both choirs are tuition programs; assistance is available.
