Drama seems follow Amber Portwood wherever she goes. The 20-year-old Teen Mom is, once again, the subject of tabloid stories, as her car and home were vandalized over Easter weekend. Sources say that Amber was targeted by a neighbor, who says that the MTV star stole her man.
According to RadarOnline.com, the words "slut," "hoe," and "fu***r" were spray painted on the Portwood's Ford Taurus and her Anderson, Ind. home was egged. After discovering the damage, a "furious" Amber called police.
All of this went down after Portwood's neighbor, Jamie Monroe, accused her of stealing the father of her baby, Midas Field. Star magazine spoke to Monroe, who said that she threw Field out after catching him with Amber.
"Everyone around Anderson knows any guy is fair game for Amber is she gets her hooks in him, even if he’s already taken," Jamie, 28, told the mag. She also told Star that after she threw Midas out, he stayed with Amber, and Amber taunted Jamie by yelling, "I’m ridin' your baby daddy!"
Portwood's mother, Tonya, said: "Amber is upset at the vandalism. [She] was forced to call the police, at around 3 a.m., when she came home with her aunt and Midas from a dinner."
The reality star had a daughter, Leah, in 2008 with then-boyfriend Gary Shirley. Her mother said although Amber's neighbor, Fields, has "a crush" on her, she is "still seeing Gary, although they're not officially back together."
You have to think that Portwood brings some of this on herself, as she's been the subject of one scandal after another since appearing on the first season of MTV's 16 and Pregnant. She and Shirley have had physical altercations that led to a custody battle, and nude photos were of the young mom were leaked on to the Internet after she sent them to a friend. While she's most certainly the victim in this vandalism case, we think it might be time for Amber to take some responsibility for her actions, as well.
