In the lead up to Father?s Day, the Menswork Project is holding an event entitled ?Fathers on the Move?.
When we think of a workshop about fathering/fatherhood/fathers, FUN might not be the first word that comes to mind. However, our inner child is often the basis for questions explored on the next exciting opportunity from The MensWork Project. So I expect there will be some SERIOUS FUN among the activities during this special residential weekend workshop on the last weekend of August (a week before Father?s Day).
On this weekend we are likely to explore ideas around:
- your dad, the outcomes of him in your life and your options around these
- you as a father (or perhaps grandfather now) and the feelings you carry around this
- children?s experience of you ? including blended and step family situations
- opportunities for you to provide great fathering to your children/grandchildren in the future
A small number of men can stack their toolbox with the right fatherhood gear in 2012 ? could this be the opportunity you have been waiting for?
There are only a couple of spots left, so?whatever age or stage you are as a father, if this has interest for you register now to build your ?fathering toolbox? of strong techniques and skills for fathering and general family enhancement:
