What gives Belek all inclusive holidays an advantage over some other destinations?
It's simple - variety!
Golf and escaping golf
Even the most dedicated golfers will sometimes admit sotto-voce (though rarely in the presence of others golfers and absolutely never in a clubhouse) that they can sometimes have too much golf. If that sounds like sacrilege, well, perhaps if you have been on holiday in a golfing centre where there is not much else to do locally but to play golf, then you may know what that sentiment is about.
Much as we all love the game, there are other things in life and some of us prefer to keep our golfing enthusiasm running at the highest levels by making sure that we don't golf to excess on holiday. Yes, certainly the multiple courses locally in Belek are built and maintained to a superb standard. Several of them are officially described as "demanding" and some holes are fiendishly clever. Yet however many days you're drawn to the greens and fairways, there may be times when you'd like to do something else just by way of a change. That's why Belek all inclusive holidays are different, even though they can be built around the basic structure of a golfing holiday. You can, if you wish, do a vast number of 'other things' that are either on your doorstep or close by.
History
Belek is located on Turkey's Mediterranean coast - one of the ancient world's main highways.
So many civilisations have come and gone through this area over the passing millennia that it is impossible to name them all. Of course, two of the more famous were the Greeks and Romans, and they have both left many traces visible today in fantastic nearby sites such as Perge, Side and Aspendos. A visit to the museum in the regional capital of Antalya is also well worth the time spent.
The sea
Belek all inclusive holidays also have the benefit of being based around what is arguably Turkey's best beach. Miles of excellent sand and crystal clean waters mean that there is a large selection of beach and water sports activities to choose from.
Turkey and its people
One of the biggest attractions of this resort is that it is in Turkey. Few local populations are as welcoming to visitors as the Turks. Belek all inclusive holidays offer not only the possibility of some great golfing and water sports, but also the chance to experience a unique culture. Visiting some of the local towns and bartering in the bazaars is an experience not to be missed. Who knows, you may pick up some great golfing bargains if you're feeling withdrawal symptoms after a few hours away!
