Re: Google Music Beta

Have you tried creating a new playlist with google music player.

Yeah I tried a few and same problem with all of them.
Do you have repeat on?
I haven't had that problem myself, but for me the Intercept just seems a little laggy trying to manage 20,000 tracks in the cloud.
Streaming also seems to take a bit to start as well, I notice a bit of delay on each track.

Yeah with that many tracks no way in hell I was gonna manage playlists on the Intercept's tiny screen.? I did it all on a desktop through the google music site.

Interestingly enough, I checked to make sure I didnt have repeat single song on and I didnt.? I had it on repeat playlist and I tried turning any sort of repeat completely off.? Still same problem.? Then I turned shuffle off.? Same problem.? Then I rebooted, went back into google music, went into a playlist, and pressed shuffle all.? It started playing fine for a few songs.? It seems the shuffle and repeat playlist buttons on the actual playback screen are broken because if i toggled any combination of those it would screw up again.

I suppose its not too bad not being able to turn on repeat playlist since the one I use the most is quite large.? Definately looking forward to an updated android client and hopefully either a standalone player or a way for global hotkeys to work in the browser player.

I kinda think the Beta is sort of a gyp... I STILL haven't uploaded all of my music because it takes ages and ages and eats your bandwidth, and I've noticed that I can stream music via Audiogalaxy faster than I can via Google Beta, which is strange considering AG pulls the music from my comp, and the beta is supposed to only be pulling from the Google servers.

I think it took me close to 2 weeks to upload to google.? My playback problem just started the last few days which coincidentally is when I finished uploading my music and finalized my playlist.? Prior to that I didnt add too many songs to my playlist since I figured I'll do it after it's done downloading.? I didn't have any buffering or playback issues at that time.? I suppose VM is speedy enough in my area to handle the streaming.? I've never heard of audiogalaxy, but I'll look into that as a google music alternative.
