Making fun of American Culture on every Episode Family Guy ? Is is ...

Seth MacFarlane created an animated tv show referred to as Family Guy. In every episode Family Guy center on the Griffin household that?s parents Peter and Lois; children Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their speaking human like dog Brian. The show is set in Rhode Island in the fictions city of Quahog and reveals its humor with cutaway gags that make fun of American culture. Family Guy debuted after the Superbowl in 1999 on Fox. The episode Family Guy started with was ?Death has a Shadow?. With that episode Family Guy had 22 million viewers and controversy spewed. The show continually got moved around to completely different days and times with no warning. The ratings suffered terribly. Fox then formally cancelled the show in 2002.

Family Guy is consistently stuffed with content material that?s inflicting controversy. If there may be some hot-button situation in American tradition, then Family Guy has no problem poking fun at it. An episode of Family Guy thrives on making viewers say, ?Oh no, they did not just go there??. Here are a number of of the groups that hate Family Guy and the hilarious causes from the show that they?re mad at.

There are so many controversies to write about! First up is a current episode Family Guy aired in 2010 known as Extra Medium Large. There is a character featured named Ellen who has Down syndrome. Ellen mentions that her mom was once governor of Alaska. Sarah Palin was Alaska?s governor and has a son with Down syndrome. The creators of the Family Guy episode had been cruel and coldhearted, stated Sarah Palin. Bristol Palin, Sarah?s daughter stated that with the episode Family Guy was mocking her brother. Seth MacFarlane responded again saying that Family Guy is an equal opportunity offender.

The next is the episode The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire. In this episode Family Guy has a cutaway gag where a person is told he has full blown AIDS. The man is gaunt and is in the end stage of AIDS. A barber shop quartet including Peter sings and dances in regards to the man having AIDS. The music speculates how the person acquired AIDS, from whether or not it was a filthy needle or unprotected sex. Peter is good at telling individuals bad news is the gag was all about. AIDS groups have been very upset at this as a result of they noticed it as in the episode Family Guy was making fun of AIDS. They needed an apology, but instead they got Fox defending the show. Fox said they make fun of everybody to pretty much recover from it. The creators said that it was speculated to be tasteless because that was the joke.

So while hilarious to some, Family Guy upsets certain groups of people. Family Guy will make you chuckle your self silly as long as you don?t take it too seriously if you watch their shows. It?s made to be over the top to get the laugh. Many people who really feel wronged by Family Guy are individuals who constantly feel wronged. They are overly sensitive and just have to relax. Family Guy is right here to stay. And for those who show that you are upset by the jokes, they will just keep coming.. Family Guy would not discriminate, as stated before. The show will make fun of everybody equally.
